I have a list of things I would like to do with my life, yet I feel as though I cannot purse 90% of them.
Maybe I should explain my life a little:
Pre-College: I always thought I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. Partially because I like superficial, another partial because I wanted to give to those people who need it, and yet a definite partial because it was the "hot thing" on television at the moment. Shows like Nip/Tuck, Dr.90210.. all of those shows made me want to be a Surgeon of Plastic..
College: Who said pre-med was easy? No One. and I should have listened. Taking all these science classes made me NOT want to be anything in the medical field. Sure, it would be nice to be called a doctor. Even better, the pay would be great! But it really wasn't me...Plus, you can never party like a college student, unless you're an actual college student.
Post-College: This made me realize that it's totally normal NOT to have a job, or move back into your parent's house, or not be in grad school right after you graduate from college. Sure my ideal dreams of being independent have been on hold, but it's nice not having to pay rent.
The big question now is... What the HELL do I want to do with my life?
I want to...
-move to New York
-own a place of my own
-be an events coordinator
-go overseas
-work for the government
-have a fancy office job in those tall buildings downtown
-live in an exotic country
all these are so spontaneous... Well, where ever life takes me, this blog will tell it all :)
